No problem for the tech shy, but this MC can be modified to replace the OEM MC in a 1969 American Lotus Elan. Front and rear loop ports must be milled to allow clearance for adjacent MC coupler, then ports must be tapped to accept brake line fittings, mounting flange bolt holes must be exposed to accept firewall attachment, rear counterbore . The piston must be rounded to accommodate the OEM drive shaft and fluid reservoir cap must be modified to accommodate the SOVY device. The 0.75" bore on this MC is larger than the 0.70" bore on the OEM, which means more pedal effort is required in use, but the force required doesn't feel excessive.
