Here's how to get FIVE stars and get noticed!

Surprisingly cool film! I was hesitant to buy it based on other reviews but luckily they are way off! I bought a fluorescent yellow paint for my Honda CBR motorcycle and it's exactly what I wanted. I took photos along the way to show the few steps I took and the result I got at the end. To be honest, I consider myself an experienced DIYer. Even if you've never used it before, it's easy to use once you understand how it works. First of all, like any other sticker, it has a protective film on the adhesive. or vinyl. However, this foil also has a protective film over the finished surface so you can use a credit card or plastic squeegee during installation without damaging the finished surface. (NOTE, some of the "wrinkles" that people refer to are actually just a liner, and this is common because it is temporary and not meant to stay on vinyl for any length of time. These wrinkles will disappear during installation, as well as both protective films. ) Make sure the surface is free of dirt, grease, chemicals or moisture of any kind. Then determine the size of the area and the amount of material needed. The best method with large lenses is to use masking tape or masking tape to hold the vinyl in place during pre-cutting and installation. Heat up excess and stow away later. A NOTICE. This film is ready, you can't lay it down and move it, otherwise you'll start washing out the glue and you'll end up with a bad result. You leave enough to finish the job. Then, using a heat gun on low speed or a blow dryer on high, slowly heat small areas of the overhang and press firmly with a card or your fingers to ensure the vinyl adheres to the edges. Wherever a crease or finger blister appears, simply cut a straight line from center to edge and pin them together. Keep doing this until you're done. Any bubbles on the main surface can be corrected with a needle by piercing it and pressing firmly. Good luck everyone, hope this helps. I love it! Oh, and I'm about to paint the fairings, so my bike is empty. πŸ˜‚
