As far as marine stereo goes, this is the best i have ever used. It also has large buttons and a simplified display that works great when moving through the water. I have installed several head units in cars and on my boat. The bracket was different from the old aluminum rail. It was a plastic panel with 4 stainless steel screws that was easy to assemble. This unit is lighter than most and obviously more waterproof than other "marine quality" stereos I've used in the past. The wiring is the same as for the head unit. Control. It has 2 zone volume which is great if you have multiroom or crow's nest on your boat. But it's a glorified fader, I have 4 speakers on my bowrider. So it's a bit annoying. Still 5 stars from me. I am very happy with this purchase.
