Review on 🖤 Mohawk Quick Fill Burn-in Stick in Black, 1 Inch - M320-0011 by Mike Skinner

I bought the Burn In Stick because my dog left a fairly deep scratch on the table. I tried filling it with a soft stick but wasn't happy with the result so I read reviews of Burn In Sticks and thought they would fill the scratch better. I was wrong. I tried the drip method where I heated the end and dripped material into the scratch so it filled the space and created a nice dome of material over the area. I waited for it to cool and took a plastic scraper to smooth it out and the material split like plastic leaving the scratch exactly as before. None of the baking materials stuck to the scratch. I then tried heating the end of the stick and rubbing it into the scratch, thinking that this would push the material deeper into the scratch. I made sure to cover the entire area and created another mound over the scratch. Let cool down. scraper used. The result is the same. All the material has come out of the scratch leaving it as empty as before. Either I'm doing something wrong or we have magic teflon coated wood on the table but this product did not work as advertised.
