Review on 🚀 High Performance K&N Cold Air Intake Kit: Boost Horsepower for 2015-2017 FORD Mustang (63-2589) by Samuel Blakeley

I'm only giving this one 1 star because 0 stars is obviously not an option. Bought for my 2015 Mustang 2.3L Ecoboost. I have installed at least 4 K&N intake systems on other vehicles over the years so I was confident that I would get the same good results. I had to do my homework first. I didn't have much trouble putting it on, but as soon as I got onto the freeway, the check engine light came on. I stopped and checked all connections - no problem. I took it to Auto Zone to have the code read and they said the crankcase connection was loose. We have checked. It's not like this. Me, my friend and the Auto Zone mechanic looked at every detail and connection and found nothing wrong. I took it to my Ford dealer and they cleared the code after finding nothing wrong with the install either. As soon as I gave it some gas, the check engine light came on. One of the mechanics at the Ford dealer said he regularly sees problems with K&N air intakes on 2015 and newer Mustangs. I checked online and this seems to be a fairly common problem on K&N air intakes and newer Mustangs. If you have a new Mustang, avoid this consumption like the plague.
