Review on Aurora AU1217XB 12 Sheet Professional Crosscut by Paul Varnado

When I first used it, I didn't think it was bad. Then I decided to tear up some tax information and the paper crumpled on the sides (both sides). There's no release for it, so if the back doesn't move, there's no way to pull the paper out. I contacted Aurora via email, they called me within half an hour (very impressive) and told me to put in a tablespoon. Stick vegetable oil on the paper and wait 30 minutes. I did as instructed and it worked, I was then able to start prying out the paper stuck there with the tweezers. Now it works fine, I didn't overload it, it just didn't go through properly and got stuck. One more thing - I thought the cross cut meant it would be ripped into small pieces - it's not. I cut into short strips, not small squares.
