I bought a few of these partly based on my experience with this brand. You did very well. I've used them both inside and outside the stairs. They were used with two 300 lb ladders and one 250 lb ladder. They are definitely more stable with higher rated ladders. They were used to install siding on a 23 foot tall house. They were stable enough that I was quite comfortable at 17 feet off the ground. I used them with the Qualcraft 2475 Basemate Easy Connect Professional Ladder Stabilizer which allows the ladder to stand perfectly vertical. For the scaffolding I used two Walkboard T-Brace 3 Pack Model Number: 5601629 30ft long so I could create the siding on one side of the building with one setup. I would recommend that every worker put on a safety harness.
