This wireless dimmer was a big disappointment. It works well mechanically and electrically, and responds well to Alexa commands when plugged in. However, it does not remain connected to the network for more than 5 days in a row, and reconnecting to the network is not a trivial task. Enough of the annoyance, we don't even try to use wireless functions anymore. We have other wireless devices, Roku, Oppo DVD players, cell phones, iPads, etc. that stay connected to our network in the same room with no problem. Full wireless power on my mobile phone right on the front of the dimmer. So signal strength is not a problem. If you plan on using it with a wireless network, I'd recommend looking for something more reliable. WiFi as it doesn't stay connected. Today the light bulb burned out and the dimmer no longer turns off the light. Even dimmed to the lowest level, its brightness is around 60%. I couldn't be more disappointed in the product and have downgraded my rating from two stars to one star.
