Review on 🎮 Wii Classic Controller Pro - White: Improved Product for Enhanced Gaming Experience! by Quinton Wonsley

First, my husband is not a gamer. When we got our Wii he was excited about the idea of a virtual console and nostalgic games from old Nintendo systems. He only found out that it required a classic controller after purchasing Mario Kart 64 through VC. Oops. He didn't rush off to buy a controller, so the game's icon sat there on the Wii Menu for months, mocking him. I decided that I would take one of them as a gift for his birthday. -- I was hesitant to buy this controller or a GameCube controller as it looked like you'd need one or both depending on the games you play. After looking at the official Nintendo website, it seems that most of the VC games my husband would be interested in can be played with this controller. That's why I bought the CC Pro because I found it more ergonomic than the CC. I couldn't help myself, I had to open the box and try it first to make sure it worked well. Mind you, I just tried this out with Mario Kart 64. Plug it into the Wiimote right out of the box and off you go! I've never played this game before, even before, it took me a while to figure out which buttons do what (sucks I know) but once I got the hang of it and played a single race it was I impressed. The feel is light which I consider a plus, the analog sticks are quite responsive and I liked the placement of the L&R buttons - I thought it was ok. It's a bit wide but I have long fingers and my husband has big hands so it should fit. I will update this review if it shares a different perspective. I'm giving it 4 stars because it's not inherently wireless, and honestly I've had to do too much research to know if this is the controller I need. I'd appreciate some clarity from Nintendo - like an accurate list of all the games you can play with each controller, rather than looking at games individually. Would make the purchase easier.
