Hello, this Mr. coffee filter comes in neat combo packaging. There's a little plastic tab to remind you to change filters after so many daily uses. It works out? Most faucets taste bad and this solves the problem. The coffee is excellent and tasty. We brewed coffee without a filter and the taste was similar, but our brain told us the filter was better and it worked. Don't be alarmed if you lift the filter cover to reach the base in the filter. Sometimes you will see multiple stalactites hanging from the bottom of the filter. it is the water that passes through the membrane and finds the easiest path to the coffee. but it looks weird when you lift the lid. great product and delivery
