Review on BISINNA Lightweight 2-Person Camping Tent: Waterproof, Windproof, And Easy To Set Up For Outdoor Adventures by Ben Chase

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good inexpensive tent

Used it on a multi day hiking trip in Hawaii during the wet season (December).Pros: The tent was lightweight and easy to assemble. It can easily fit inside any moderately sized backpack; or strap it outside the backpack. I liked the inside pockets, the strap in the middle to hang a lantern, and the two side doors that open individually and allows two people to go in and out easily.Cons: it rained heavily every night, and while it kept us dry for the rain itself, we did get a good amount of moisture all around the walls. I knew it was going to rain so I carried a tarp for the bottom just to be safe, and it was the best decision. If I hadn’t used the tarp, perhaps the bottom would’ve gotten wet. Also, because it rained every day, we had to keep the rain cover on all the time; it was incredibly warm inside the tent, even warmer than outside. The side windows are very tiny and air doesn’t really flow inside the tent. We had to open the rain cover on both sides to allow some air to come in. Lastly, while the tent does fit two people, it leaves little to no space for additional things such as backpacks/luggage (For size comparison the tent was shared between two 5’10” people).Overall: this is a good tent if you’d like something inexpensive. It should hold just fine for a couple of uses, but I’m not sure it will last long if used constantly or in rough weather/terrain conditions. The use of a tarp is highly recommend if you expect heavy rains and/or wet soil.
