Good tent if properly used

I bought two of these and used them for a 2 night boy scout fishing/camping trip this last weekend. The tents were easy to set up and appear sufficiently durable. I don't have concerns about the netted support rod sleeves like others do. Yes, it is possible that the netting could wear or snag but we didn't have any meaningful issues with the pole snagging on the netted rod sleeves. I would probably prefer clips but this tent was less expense than other options so I'm tolerant of the netted…

Pros
  • ‎Backpacking
Cons
  • The tent is not very waterproof and may leak

UPDATE: used this for a backpacking trip and it worked great. Easy to unpack and pack back, fits nicely back into the bag. The poles go through mesh sleeves instead of hooks, which is irritating and takes a little longer, but for $55 I’m not complaining. My husband was able to carry the entire tent by himself, but it had to be strapped to the outside of his pack. Biggest problem we had was it was a little short. We had some condensation in our tent and my husband’s sleeping bag got soaked at…

Pros
  • Took to the porcupine mountains and did a great job.
Cons
  • The tent poles are not very durable

It is a good tent with some modifications

Received and erected tent. I especially like that the tent bag is a little bigger then the original wrapped tent. The directions, attached to the tent bag (smart), only describe directions to putting the tent fly on.If you want to send feedback to the seller. = Go to "Accounts and Lists" top right / Under "Your Account", select "My Orders" / then select the product and "Seller feedback" = to ask a question about the product. The overseas Revain Customer Service has never used the Revain web site

Pros
  • ‎Easy Setup, Free Standing
Cons
  • The tent is not very warm in colder temperatures

I really like this best in my review

I really really like this. Everything about it is nicer than I expected for the money. I was even surprised at the poles especially, they are metal (yet light weight) and more sturdy than anything I've owned before. And I've owned some tents that cost double this one.My main reason for getting a new tent was water resistance - my old ones were getting leaky after many many years of use. So far using it I've only had it out in brief light rain - so obviously not the best test there. (Yes…

Pros
  • Easy Set up &Compact
Cons
  • The tent does not have any interior pockets for storage

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Easy to assemble, and carry. Arrived slightly damaged.

Likes--I appreciated the size of the tent, it can fit two people relatively comfortably. Can accommodate some personal gear, such as a small backpack. Best for one person with gear, if you are a tall person, this is not the tent for you.--Lightweight, and can easily attach to a pack.--Easy to assemble. With multiple people, took less than 4 minutes.--Affordable on sale. As a general rule, tents that you can acquire for $50-60 will meet minimum expectations. Suitable for a commoner, not a king…

Pros
  • Tent Stakes
Cons
  • The tent is too heavy to backpack with

works great for the cost

I bought this tent for my 6 day trip down the Colorado through Canyonlands and it performed as expected. Easy to set up (instructions in stuff sack) and take down, it did well in a fierce wind and rainstorm that lasted around an hour with no leaks or problems. I didn't backpack it but it was compact and lightweight enough to do that and am very satisfied with my purchase (altho I'll never use it again and never sleep on the ground again either) and would have no problem lending it to cousins or

Pros
  • ‎82.67 Inches
Cons
  • The tent does not have any guy lines to add stability

Worked great. for my opinion

As most tent buyers know.a two person tent means room for two people with absolutely no room to move or place an extra bag. But as backpacker I had plenty of room in this tent for myself, my pack, and space to lay out and organize things when needed. When we first arrived it was raining hard but tent went up quick. The click in design of the overlay is genius in that its so quick to put on. I stayed dry all night without issues with leakage or dampness from pressing on the sides. As with all…

Pros
  • Great tent
Cons
  • The tent is too small for taller individuals

Good inexpensive tent

Used it on a multi day hiking trip in Hawaii during the wet season (December).Pros: The tent was lightweight and easy to assemble. It can easily fit inside any moderately sized backpack; or strap it outside the backpack. I liked the inside pockets, the strap in the middle to hang a lantern, and the two side doors that open individually and allows two people to go in and out easily.Cons: it rained heavily every night, and while it kept us dry for the rain itself, we did get a good amount of…

Pros
  • Waterproof
Cons
  • The tent may not provide enough privacy

Great value for the price

I've taken this tent up into the Yosemite high country and used it in below freezing temps. It stood up well to the wind and even retained a small amount of heat when I kept the rain fly flush against the sides of the tent all night. Granted it collected the moisture from my breath, but having the extra few degrees of warmth was worth it in the early morning. It's not the lightest tent in the world but it's a great value for the price.

Pros
  • Great for backpacking for the price! It’s still roomy and very easy set up
Cons
  • The tent material is thin and may tear easily

Durable, waterproof, sized right, and easy to assemble!

We LOVE this tent. We purchased this as my son entered Webelos in preparation for Scouts BSA. The first tent we purchased had a pop-up style assembly and was intended to be easy, but not for backpacking. It was too tall for my son to use, so we went with this smaller option. Not only is it small and easy to assemble, but it is lightweight and works perfectly now that he is learning how to pack for hike-in camping. He practiced putting it up and down inside the house before the first trip, and…

Pros
  • Roomy 2-person Tent for 3 Seasons
Cons
  • The tent fabric may fade in sunlight

Perfect Travel Tent

My husband and I bought this tent because we were going to Arizona and we needed a tent to camp in that could easily be brought with on an airplane. We also needed a tent that would be easy to setup and would work in both cold and hot temperatures. This tent worked fantastic! It was small enough and lightweight enough to fit in a checked bag and fly, it was SO easy to setup and take down. Best of all we camped outside both in 90 degree heat and freezing temps and were comfortable! If you plan on

Pros
  • ‎3 Season, Summer, Fall, Spring
Cons
  • The tent may not hold up well in heavy snow

Love this tent! for my opinion

I backpack, and was looking for a summer tent to start backpacking with. I wanted light weight, small, and inexpensive as I was unsure if I would enjoy backpacking (which I do). I watched a lot of videos on features to look for and this has all of them. Ventilation is key so you don't get condensation in the tent. I've camped through 2 large storms and had no leaking (I did seam seal the tent). The tent has seam tape on the inside of the fly, but not seam sealed on the outside where the water…

Pros
  • Great tent for weekend camping
Cons
  • The tent is not very stable in high winds

Excellent Waterproofing!

I’ve used this tent on at least 15 nights now in Alaska and it’s been great. Very easy and fast setup. I spent 7 nights in pouring rain and although I added a tarp to the top since I had it, the floor waterproofing is incredible. One night I had the tent setup for 7 hours in puddling rain in the mud and somehow the floor was totally dry all night. The floor is extremely thin and not at all like tarp material but somehow it didn’t let water through. 5 stars for sure!

Pros
  • ‎Mens
Cons
  • The tent is not very resistant to animal damage

I REALLY like this tent

Wow, really impressed with this tent. I wanted a lightweight 2 person backpacking tent and compared 8 different tents ranging from this Bisinna for about $60 up to a $160 Kelty Salida. All the 8 tents that made the list were great and all would have worked really well. All were under 5lbs. I wanted in that 4-5lb range, small stuff sack, ideally 2 doors and a vestibule on each side. 3 of the 8 only had 1 door and would have worked but from experience it’s nice having two doors. Case one person…

Pros
  • Very compact and pretty light. Not quite long enough for me at 6 ft 2 inches. Very easy to put up. Te
Cons
  • The tent is not very roomy and may feel cramped

Great inexpensive tent

I have used this several times now - small and light enough to fit in a carry-on and still leave plenty of room for clothes and gear. Love this tent!

Pros
  • ‎Aluminum
Cons
  • The tent may not provide enough protection from bugs

Revainrating 5 out of 5

You will be protected!

10 in heavy bush country, heavy rain, high winds and some hail….no problemo.Stayed dry and warm, that’s all ya can hope for :)

Pros
  • ‎16.89 x 6.22 x 5.98 inches
Cons
  • The tent may be difficult to set up on uneven terrain

survived a tornado best in my review

Survived a tornado and 2 weeks backpacking with teenagers. A couple of slightly bent poles but otherwise did great. Needs some extra waterproofing and the stakes are terrible but otherwise great.

Pros
  • ‎2000 millimeters
Cons
  • The tent takes longer than advertised to set up

Love this tent. - my new review

Bought this tent for my overnight backpacking trip. It is easy to setup. It rained the whole night and I stayed completely dry. I kept my backpack outside the tent under the rain fly and it stayed dry as well.

Pros
  • Outdoor Recreation
Cons
  • The tent may not be very durable in the long run

Held Up Well in Severe Weather

Just returned from a 4-day river trip through Lodore Canyon. It rained heavily every night and one night had significant wind gusts. This tent held up without any problems; we stayed comfortable and dry. Positive features: good/solid aluminum poles; zippers open and close smoothly; easy to set up; vents on top prevent condensation; packs up easy; compact when packed. I would buy this again.

Pros
  • ‎Water-Resistant
Cons
  • The tent material may become discolored over time

Revainrating 4 out of 5

easy and light! best in my review

my boyfriend and i were looking for a very lightweight tent for backpacking! this one was really light, easy to assemble, enjoyed the double door feature, and the easy clips to connect the top fly. unfortunately had to return because my partner is 6’6” and he couldn’t stretch out completely. i am 5’6” and fit great. would have kept if it was just for me!

Pros
  • what one would expect of a $200 tent
Cons
  • The zippers are low quality and may break easily
