I backpack, and was looking for a summer tent to start backpacking with. I wanted light weight, small, and inexpensive as I was unsure if I would enjoy backpacking (which I do). I watched a lot of videos on features to look for and this has all of them. Ventilation is key so you don't get condensation in the tent. I've camped through 2 large storms and had no leaking (I did seam seal the tent). The tent has seam tape on the inside of the fly, but not seam sealed on the outside where the water penetration starts. Buy a bottle for $10 it's worth doing to ensure you have no leaks. Inspection of tent quality is just ok. There are some loose threads from the factory so I expect the life of the tent to be shorter than other high dollar brands, but at this price you can buy 3 tents before you reach the lowest price of a name brand comparable competitor. Lots of space as well, easily sleeps 2 and your gear will fit nicely under the vespules which are large. Doors on both sides make it great for having options when you set the tent up and you don't need to wake or crawl over your buddy or partner for the midnight bathroom break. Air flow is amazing with a nice gap at the base, and large vents at the top. I had the vents open, and with the bathtube floor design had no water coming in during storms and 20-30mph winds. In addition to seam sealing I would also spend $10 on some ground hog tent stakes. The factory supplied ones bend easily and won't stay in the ground under windy conditions.
