It took me a while to learn how to use them but once you do they are fully functional and I would definitely recommend them! Due to user error I had to buy 2 more packs after going through 2 packs. Because of this, this product had 3 1/2 stars at the time of my review. It deserves a 5 if you learn how to use it properly. To use it properly, just apply gently. These buttons last a long time if you don't press hard. After being satisfied with the results of my first pack of these pens, I started a second one and barely started before the pen tip was used up. Its my fault. I went to bed, noticed some unfinished business and decided to do something before bed. Since I was tired, I pressed the tip of the pen and it fell to shreds. Then, without learning from my mistake, I do it with another pen. Luckily I gave up for the night when I had a new pen left. By morning I was fully aware of how messed up my pens were and ready to try again. With a little pressure I finished my huge bathroom with paint in the pen. Then I did the foyer. Still with a stock of colors in the same pen. These things last. With the right technique, you can get the job done inexpensively. To answer the complaint that it is not durable, a waste of money and not waterproof. When you paint a wall, do you splash water on it as it dries and complain that the paint is poorly done? Let it dry first! Just wait for it to set and it will hold up great. I am very satisfied with this grout pen. I've covered the hallway, 2 bathrooms, laundry room, and kitchen with 6 handles, although I could do it with 3-4 if I knew I wasn't pressing on the tops of the handles.
