I have purchased both this product and [USB-IF Certified] Cable Matters USB-C to USB-A Gen 2 (10Gbps) Black Cable colors, 3.3ft / 1m different USB-C requirements. It's not the cheapest option, but it's worth it - why risk a $100 device to save $5 on a cable? The cables and connectors are solidly built and feel pretty solid. As a result, cables don't bend or bend as easily as most. It's a bit inconvenient when I'm plugging my phone into the car and trying to position it away from the shifter, but not so inconvenient that I need a thinner cable. Charging works well on different devices. (phones, switch, tablet) and power adapters (car, power bank). Data transfer works well for Android Auto (and I suspect for other use cases, but can't speak to my experience). I would buy them again anytime I need more cables. However, given the way they hold up, that's unlikely unless I lose them.
