I was looking for something to wear over light racquet and puck rubbers and water hockey. I wear Bauer Nexus shin guards and (when playing pond hockey) a roller hockey belt for light padding. These pants fit perfectly over my pads. The leg opening is large enough that I can slide my legs up to tighten my shins and then use the velcro to adjust the taper on my legs to get the right fit. They are well made and designed to withstand more wear and tear than regular ice hockey/warmer pants. I will probably order a second pair for the weekend tournament.
