Pretty pretty shapes. I wish the pyramids were sturdier

These molds are really beautiful pieces that are definitely worth the price. They are a bit smaller than what I drew, but that's because I'm bad at judging the size of shapes πŸ˜‚. I was only looking for small pyramid shapes and was happy to find a set without huge resin eating pyramids. I was also very happy about 2 pyramid cube molds. They will come in handy for making cool stuff when I have time to work with them. If you want to make a giant pyramid for roses or other large items, these shapes won't work for you. But if you want to make small to medium pieces, they're perfect. My only real criticism of the shapes is that the pyramids are really easy to tip over. I wouldn't recommend leaving them balanced at the top without lateral support as it would be too easy to tip them over and make a mess. Luckily, the cubes that come with them work really well as supports when you put the pyramid shapes in. While I'd love to work with the pyramids and cubes in one session, I'm grateful that there's an easy way to keep the pyramids from tipping over. The quality of the silicone will show over time. It looks like it's going to wear out quicker than some, but I haven't had any issues with demolding so far. It seems transparent enough to be used with UV resin, but I haven't tried it yet. Make sure you check the pour depth of the resin you are using to ensure your resin is not overheating the mold. Also, be careful not to apply too much heat for the same reason. If you take good care of it, you can make more than enough detail to justify the cost of the mold.
