Review on HTC Adjustable Mobile Base HTC2000 for Power Tools in Black by Michael Kosack

I really wanted it to work.

Basically I had the same problems that other reviewers write about here. • The tool lift cam is made of plastic. Just look at it and hold it in your hand, it won't take long. Check out the posts where they show this is broken. I'm told you can call the company and get an aluminum part, but the buyer doesn't have to do that to get a solid part. The cam mechanism for raising your tool is made of plastic. Just look at it and hold it in your hand, it won't take long. Check out the posts where they show this is broken. That is, I pressed the pedal to allow the wheels to work. However, the cam snaps off and the base stops moving. Not to mention your car will shake when the base hits the ground. • I will say that their customer support was helpful. I was also missing a screw with a nylon washer. The company was willing to send me one immediately. The people on the phone were very helpful and nice. But this is a poorly designed product. The wheels and base are very strong, but the plastic pedal and unstable locking mechanism make this device less functional and short-lived. To be honest I wish they would have charged a few bucks more for quality parts. I would happily spend the extra money on a stronger block.
