Difference between Dansko Peggy and Dansko Paisley

First of all I would like to say that I like both shoes. However, I wanted to write a review to help those of you who may be struggling with shoe selection because they look pretty damn close to identical. Well, if you look closely at each shoe, the shoes look different from the outside. Paisley has very little suede on the outside of the shoe, while Peggy is about 90 percent suede. Another thing is the weight of each shoe. Paisley is a light shoe and Peggy is a heavy one. You can notice a big difference walking in shoes that Peggy is heavier. If you're the kind of person who likes light shoes, I would recommend the Paisley. However, I find Peggy much prettier to look at and get tons of compliments every time I wear her. Paisley sneakers aren't as pretty, but I prefer their light weight. Another great thing about Paisley is that you can swap out the leg insert, but not on Peggy. The design and fit of the toe box does not allow you to change the inserts for the foot, so you must use the insert provided by Dansko. Don't worry, it's not that bad, the shoes actually seem very comfortable, but if like me you're used to changing insoles to give your shoes extra comfort, just know that with Peggy you won't be able. When trying to swap out the insert my toe broke on the top of the boot which was very uncomfortable making the boot feel a half size too small. In addition, both shoes offer the same comfort over long distances. hope that helps
