My wife calls shirts like these "man spanx", as they essentially try to contain and hide some of the less flattering parts of my abdomen. I'll be honest, they make a bit of a difference, but arguably at what cost? Contrary to how it is portrayed on the listing, you don't want to wear this without a shirt on unless you already have a model physique. It looks silly by itself. That's ok, just wear it under your clothes and then remove it when you change, right?So the problem is, after wearing it out all evening with some formal wear, I went to change for bed and I actually had some difficulty with it. I mean, the idea is that it is tight in specific areas but man, this material will FIGHT YOU when you try to get it off! Granted I was exhausted, but decided I'd rather just sleep in it than deal with it then, and removed it in the morning instead when I wasn't tired.The good news is that it was breathable enough to be comfortable to sleep in. But my wife had a good laugh at my expense, endearingly pointing out that my shirt fought me and won. It's a decent product, but perhaps a little too good at what it does for me.
