Build quality is solid and it comes with a short, high-speed DVI cable. So if you want to use your own cable you can't save or it won't run at 144hz (faster/faster) as opposed to ghosting in cheaper but still 144hz monitors. Clean and understandable game in Paladins. When an enemy character uses instant sprint abilities, I actually see them moving instead of being in one place and then seemingly "teleporting" into proximity. Uniformity is good, when I open a white screen it looks uniformly white across the entire screen with no change in intensity. or color temperature. One downside for me as I don't just use it for gaming is that the backlight is about 3/8 inch dimmer on the edges when looking at it. But that's usually by design on most popular "gaming" monitors, and this LG isn't as bad as the Asus PG/VG as I don't see it that often on this LG. Oh, and for those in the know, this monitor's freesync works with nVidia Gsync with 1070Ti lol *Only IPS I could find at the time of purchase.
