Not bright, sent back
They were noticeably less bright than Sylvania Silverstar Ultra (orange packaging) I had to remove and put back the old ones. Now I have 1 Ultra in it (I will order more) and 1 base model (replacement for the failed Ultra). The Ultras only lasted about a year, so I decided to give the ZXE a try (both for the brightness and in hopes of a better life). The ZXE is NOT brighter than the Ultra and probably about as bright as the base Sylvania. I'm not sure, but it seemed to me that the ZXE is a focus point bulb and not an open front?
