The orange color of this PEX cutter stands out in a drawer full of uncommonly used tools. The tool itself is good quality, not something you would want to use everyday as the handles are pretty loose and it takes a fair bit of hand pressure to cut anything. These have slightly better overall quality then a similar set we bought at a big box store. The blade on this set is also reasonably sharp as it cuts without compressing or crushing the pipe. It can be difficult to make a very straight cut, it can also be difficult to cut pipe that is near the size limit of the tool.Our tool arrived sharp and works exactly as expected. We have been doing a large radiant heat installation and these are doing well helping finish up the job. I gave them 5 stars for the price / performance and the color which makes them super easy to find. Our last pair was black and they could meld into the wood work better then Rambo.
