This product can really damage your car!

As a seasoned engineer and mechanic I am very knowledgeable about the process and procedures for installing (my) 2014 Chev Sonic LT with a new wobbly/PVC cover and replacing the latter at 30k Miles. Although the plastic extrusion looks pretty solid when folded. However, the fasteners are of poor quality and two bolts were actually damaged, resulting in the removal of the cylinder block. In addition to the damage, a screw in the crankcase broke. I had to drill out a "new" screw and install a puller to remove it. As a result, I had to reinstall the old one and send the "new" back! I think I should be more confident buying it through a dealer in the future. After waiting, I tried setting this setup to 5 inch pounds (and that's a little less than recommended). Also, the thick heads (E10 star) are too small for convenience, and none of them included screw head washers.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Damaged
