I'm tired of constantly swapping out plastic buckets. When what I had showed signs of imminent demise, I began looking for a galvanized steel bucket. I don't know what's up with the buckets this year, but I haven't been able to find any steel or plastic buckets at local stores, including Walmart, hardware stores, and pet food stores. The internet access was almost as bad, but I found these buckets that looked like they could be a little better and I was desperate. I ordered two which arrived same day in two boxes from same location. What is there? I've been using them daily since I received them and they are much stronger than other plastic buckets. The top handle is straight instead of slightly curved, allowing for a more even weight distribution. The sides do not fold in when the bucket is lifted. The whole structure seems more solid. They're a bit heavier than "regular" plastic buckets, but if that's a problem for you, you can just keep track of how full they are. The handle is a little far from the top of the bucket for my hands. If I hold on to the handle, I can only fix the bucket on the spout - I can't get to the edge. If you never hold a bucket and a handle at the same time, that's no problem. My hands are considered large for women's gloves. Overall and considering the short period of use, they seem pretty good.
