Light is a fairly well made unit. I would recommend buying this product. Delivery was quick and well packaged with no damage. Update 09/22/2018: I wanted to give an update on this product. Works without problems since the last check. Also for those who have wiring problems, especially with the "brake" markings. You need to get the brake light source before the turn signal circuit. You can get this source directly from the brake light switch. Usually the best choice is a brake light circuit with a top center mount. This light bar is technically called an "Identification Tolerance Marker". It is required by the Department of Transportation (DOT) for vehicles that exceed a certain gross vehicle weight rating. In addition, heavy trailers must have this indicator. This is the central light that runs between the right and left side lights. Also DOT required subjects. This light is DOT accepted and approved for three center mounted marker lights. There is a review from an engineer talking about installing diodes for use in turn signals. This light is a parking light with an additional "3rd brake light" function. A flashing light in a car's dead center doesn't tell anyone which direction you're going to be going. If advertised as a turn signal, the seller should correct this claim. There are no conditions for using them as turn signals other than buying two of them and installing them as combined brake and turn signal and parking lights. Sometimes engineers are "above engineer". LOL.😆 Being an electronics engineer myself with an engineering background, I am looking at this review from a mechanic's point of view. It's just that something can fail, and diodes have little loss between junctions. Just use the marker/parking light and if you want an extra safety feature, connect the "brake cable" as above. Easy to do. Also if your truck has a trailer brake control connector under the dash (most new trucks) which is to the right of the steering column. 4 pin connector. Light the pins and step on the brake pedal until the dipstick lights up. I think it's the yellow wire. I know it doesn't have to be red, black, or blue wires.
