Honestly, this is my first meat grinder. I wanted to start mixing my own ground beef at home. I've used 8 different cuts of meat so far and this machine shredded them all like a champ. It comes with several attachments, which is a plus if you plan to use it for coarser grist or sausage stuffing. The device has an attractive appearance and is very easy to clean. The only downside I've experienced is that it gets hot after a few minutes of use. I assume that this is typical for devices in this price range. This doesn't really affect the temperature of the meat, and in any case, the meat should be cold to start with and cool down immediately after chopping. Overall I am very satisfied in this price range. I know that power plants come for a lot of money, but for a home cook, this is just what I need.
