This is a much better option than those $100 aluminum models. I read the reviews before buying and found that many had issues with the detector connectors that hold it in place. needs to be roused. Perhaps the manufacturer took note of these reviews and redesigned the forms. This fits my Uniden LRD950, it snaps into place if you press a little harder than the suction cup mount that came with Uniden, its thicker metal or square hole may be misplaced. a little, but it clicks and that's all that matters. I've tightened the clamps as tight as I can and haven't had any issues with the radar detector falling or bouncing so far, but if I do I'll update. Again, this will fit my 2017 Tacoma's transom stem, but I cut the screws 3/8" off.
