This is a much better option than those $100 aluminum models. I read the reviews before buying and found that many had issues with the detector connectors that hold it in place. needs to be roused. Perhaps the manufacturer took note of these reviews and redesigned the forms. I've waited a while to write this review to make sure I don't run into any issues over time. When I bought the mount there were no reviews and I took a chance.
