Refill broke during installation. It was not a product defect or product quality that caused the breakage. I put talcum powder on the threads to make makeup easier and everything worked out fine. What I didn't realize, although I carefully removed the insulation, was that a piece of insulation got stuck in the threads, and towards the end of the pipe build I over-twisted it. I unscrewed the end and broke it because it was too tight. Then I just glued it to the wall on each side and got a neat result. This is a high quality product that I would order again if the need arose. Now I know I need to be more careful and make sure there's nothing that could cause problems with the install.
