Easy and perfect in distribution

It was exactly what I needed. The cable company had just drilled a hole in the wall when the cable was run, well I got rid of the cable and got a hole in the wall. So I decided to use a hole and thread an extension through it which meant I needed a slightly larger hole. Since this was cavity wall I didn't want to just put something on the outside of the hole to make it look decent. It exceeded my expectations. Extremely easy to install, just drill a hole and screw in. I made it myself so I…

mine is broken to Accessories and Consumables

Refill broke during installation. It was not a product defect or product quality that caused the breakage. I put talcum powder on the threads to make makeup easier and everything worked out fine. What I didn't realize, although I carefully removed the insulation, was that a piece of insulation got stuck in the threads, and towards the end of the pipe build I over-twisted it. I unscrewed the end and broke it because it was too tight. Then I just glued it to the wall on each side and got a neat…

Exactly what I was looking for!

This thing saved my life, I swear. So I have my office and in it I have a modem, my Eero router and a Comcast security router. Anyway, my room also has a gaming pc, a mac, 2 monitors, a tv, xbox, a ps5 basically a bunch of electronics and it was making my room hot. The real culprit was the Eero modem and router, which ALREADY WORK TERRIBLE! So I found this, bought a hole saw to cut a hole in the wall so I could install the modem and router in the living room next to my office. The hole was easy

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • boring packaging

Great way to run cables through a wall

Great product. This was exactly what I wanted: a neat way to run 2 ethernet cables and a power cable from the closet to the hallway to get my eero network router as high as possible. Drill a 1 3/4" hole carefully so you don't run into a stud and cut the electrical wire. Great tip for a newbie. Center hole so the 2 holes line up. Much easier than precise measurements from known control points .If you don't have a long drill, buy a 6" nail from the household department. Put insulation and…

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

The company says to drill a 1 3/4" hole in the wall for this connector. female ends. One tricky thing with this setup is aligning both sides of the hole. I have an entertainment center , which is blocking one side of the wall so perfect hole alignment is not possible. I got close enough with a long drill to mark the center of both sides. Make sure you use a spike finder so you don't start a hole that you can't finish!Besides lining up the holes, screwing the two ends together can be a little…

Well made product, perfect continuity

I bought 3 5/8" - 5 1/4" to run HDMI and USB cables in my recording studio. Not in the cabin itself, but in the room where the cabin is placed. There was an old "wire under the door carpet" until I replaced the carpet. I couldn't bring myself to put on a new carpet and I didn't want the cables to get pinched by the door when it was closed, so I got one of those instead. Installation was pretty easy. I used a long bit with an extension for the pilot holes so the middle bit had room to go through
