Okay, here's the story. I have a home that was built in the late 1960's when these lightboxes were popular but are now hard to find locally. The case included spare felt pads to protect the glass from breakage and a spare nut that looks like the original, which luckily I still have after accidentally breaking the original glass cover. Verdict: A well made product that measures exactly like the original, including the nut that holds the cover in place.
