Difficult to peel, good for paint, wall treatments and accessories

Bought this tape on recommendation from a popular woodworking TV show. I used it for the first time today and found it VERY difficult to peel off the backing paper once it was applied to either surface to be bonded. I really struggled to get the paper to rise, and I've been doing DIY and advanced woodworking for many years. It's about 10 times harder to use than regular double-sided tape. Time will tell if it offers superior connectivity to justify the outlay.
