Actually I wish I bought this LONG. 3 - The wiring harness took a lot of time. It's a simple setup, and simple enough that it includes additional lighting and accessories (a 12-volt diaphragm pump set up for home laundry). More importantly, the pigtail connector has strong and easy-grip connectors compared to a standard one-piece pigtail. 1-piece design always fails. If you don't know what I mean, the pigtail is the connector that goes into the truck. Look at the 7 slots, this device has 2 parts to facilitate the connection with the truck tail pin. Compare this pigtail to the standard pigtails and you will see that the standard only has 1 piece of metal or brass. This does not provide a "tight connection" and often loses contact resulting in that particular accessory not catching fire. I've been pulled over by the police 3 times in the last 3 months because the trailer lights weren't working (turn signals, night tail lights and brake lights). Luckily no tickets were issued at all 3 stops. Now that I have installed this Heavy Duty from Mictunning (a trusted and well known product supplier) I have had no more problems. Also, I wanted to add reversing lights to the trailer, which is usually a difficult task. Let's just say not with this product. It took me longer to screw the LED module to the back of the trailer than it did to simply run the wire to the 'yellow' connector in the waterproof box. ! You will be very happy with this purchase, price, shipping, installation, adding extra lighting EVERYTHING. Very seamless process. However, I was not offered anything for this review.
