Works great. I came in because the system had an extra AUX power supply which wasn't a clean solution to using those 8 (6+2) pins with built in 6 pin mini jacks. The 980w Mac Pro and motherboard wiring is fine for my purposes in my opinion - using my card doesn't involve high/peak GPU load for extended periods, maybe very brief bursts at times.
