My property is quite large and my previous wireless doorbell system had to be about 50 feet away from each other in order to work. I love that I can place the transmitter several hundred feet away from the receiver and it works every time. For the electrical power source I am using a USB style power pack that can be easily moved anywhere that I go on my property. The power pack also keeps my cell phone charged.Nice product, but I took off a star for the poorly worded instructions.
