I have to admit that I wasn't expecting much from this product when I pulled the trigger but due to the cost savings compared to the competition I decided to take a chance, about the many reviewers complained of leaks from a variety of fittings, including press-fit connectors and a plug on the back of the mounting blocks. I've taken the reviewer's advice and used plumbing putty instead of teflon tape on these connections and have had no leaks since installing it 2 months ago. The trick with pressfit connections is to make sure the hose is fully seated and there are no leaks either. I have a ball valve that closes on all differentials including a water filter that is used under normal conditions. However, to test the installation, I pressurized the lines to 125psi and left them leak free for a week. There are also comments about the cutter. This cutter that came with the system worked flawlessly, just make sure you place the tube in the deepest part of the "V" in the cutter to capture the full blade while cutting with no issues with all the cuts I make would have. do. Plastic fittings are a little problematic in the winter months. The system will be installed in an unheated garage, so time will tell how well the hose and fittings will hold up. At the moment I can definitely recommend it for laying the ventilation system in the garage.
