🔩 Primefit PCKIT26 Air Piping System: 26-Piece Push To Connect Kit with 1/2-Inch OD / 3/8" ID x 100-Feet TPEE Tubing Review

Read most reviews before you buy the system. Definitely glad I bought it! Easy to install, works well for my store and great price. The only advice I would give is to completely ignore the thread sealant that came with the kit (already on the threads) and just scrape it off. Does nothing but flow. Take some good PTFE tape or pipe lube (thread lube) and replace before reassembly.

This product comes with more than enough parts for me to route the air supply to two different areas of my parts shop. It might not be for everyone, but it was for me. The included pipe cutter worked great. I lost a few feet of hose because it was folded and when I tried to unfold my system a piece kinked so be careful. It connects fairly easily and has been running for weeks with no leaks. I am happy.

2 year update: Still no issues with this product. I moved a line and all connections are still tight. Overall I think it's very valuable and works as expected. The included hose cutter works better than I thought. None of the ports leak, but I've had an issue with plugs that cover the 3/8 rear opening. I had to use a lot of teflon tape to make it airtight. The connectors are plastic so time will tell how durable they are. There are no 3/8 to 1/4 NPT adapters, so get one if you need one. So far…

None of the plastic connectors remain attached to the nylon air. At just 10psi, these plastic connectors will literally fly out of the air line. To update. I'm updating my rating from 1 to 5. I returned the original kit and decided to try this kit again. I'm glad I tried a different kit. It turned out that the problem was not in the plastic connectors. This might be a good system, but it has some nuances and downsides. I think it's a good price for what you get if everything is ok. There are a few things to note: It's not a metal tube, so it doesn't flatten very well. You have to rely on hangers to keep it straight. Nor is it a comprehensive solution. I was just trying to install my Primefit PCKIT26 and found that the parts they sent me do not fit. Specifically, the kit comes with 3 "bleed blocks" that they don't provide specs for (i.e. is it 3/8" or 1/4" NPT?). Due to the fact that all push-in fittings are supplied with 3/8" NPT M threads, it is clear that the top and bottom of the block are 3/8" NPT F threads.
