Review on 📁 WD My Book 4TB USB 3.0 Desktop External Hard Drive - WDBBGB0040HBK-NESN by Reginald Pitt

I can hear and feel a loud and very annoying low frequency vibration from this 8TB WD My Book drive when it is (vertically) on my desk. It's not subtle, but very noticeable. I have had several 3.5 inch USB external hard drives in the past and this My Book is not acceptable. I sent it back for a refund and will look for a better alternative. Update: I just received my Western Digital 8TB EASYSTORE EXTERNAL External Hard Drive (WDBCKA0080HBK). -NESN) which costs more and is rumored to use higher quality WD Red NAS drives. EASYSTORE also stands upright and silently on my desk. For me, WD EASYSTORE is worth the extra cost.
