Performance and functionality
AEM's short intake manifold for the 350z increases engine power from mid to peak, which is noticeable in both normal street use and under full load conditions. The increased engine noise sounds exciting and powerful. However, the heat shield and intake pipe get very hot under intense driving conditions, and the low intake temperature heatsink sometimes seems to affect the peak performance of the engine.
