I've had terrible results from this "upgrade" (cooling stopped working properly) until I noticed that the nozzle is much blunter than the standard nozzle and Silicone The sock covers the entire nozzle, not just the heater block. After cutting off the rounded part of the toe to reveal the nozzle and replacing the nozzle with a regular, "sharper" nozzle, it printed perfectly again. Wasted several hours of my time. I'm confused how this gets so many good reviews if anyone can explain. I replaced the stock Ender 3 Pro hotend, which for me printed fine until it started leaking. This was expected to be a replacement rather than having toe surgery and changing the tip just to make it work. The symptoms were terrible top layers and small spots (typical of insufficient cooling) caused by a sock that was too thick and a nozzle that was too thick.
