I bought a 16" matte black kit for my newly renovated shower enclosure and I'm in love! The huge rainfall shower is great for my space, and the portable unit is a bonus for rinsing hair or bathing dogs. For reference, my shower stall is 3 feet by 5 feet. At this size, there is very little space outside of a water shower; but I have enough room to breathe right outside of it, and the head twists and turns to just about any position I want (including side angles). Since we completely gutted the entire shower room (including the walls), installing and installing the plumbing was very easy. However, we had to be very careful when cutting holes for the portable case - due to the small frame there is very little room for error. If the hole isn't big enough, you won't be able to screw the nozzle all the way in, but it's too big and there will be gaps in the tile around it. There was indeed a slight leak in the valve initially, but we put some tape on the fittings and that fixed the problem. We waited 3 days to make sure there were no leaks (and there weren't after more tape was added). I think since our pipes are older we just need a little more tape than usual to get a good seal. There is also a swivel attached to the hand mount so you can adjust it up and down to get the angle you want. It also allows you to tighten it when you don't want to use its pivoting element. A NOTICE. We did NOT use the included 12 inch shower head rod. Since I wanted the ceiling to look flush I bought a 6" prop which can be found here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07WF6B2YR. You can also find Chrome and Polished Nickel colors here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07WCLZD6Z if you really need an ultra short rod. You can get the 3 inch here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B08837Z57BA Several reviews mention the big logo on the hardware and they will be accurate. For some reason. it doesn't bother me as much as i thought it would. Overall I am very happy and very happy with the whole set! I liked that it comes with EVERYTHING you need to install (unless you want a different height of shower head stand of course). I think it would be so easy for a finished bathroom that wants to upgrade accessories. However, I would recommend this to anyone considering remodeling their tiles. That makes the work a lot easier!
