A few months ago I fell down the garage steps and almost broke my arm and tailbone. I have to say that I fell on the stairs because I landed on my back. I bought these stickers the next morning and put them on a less than perfect pressure treated wooden staircase. The clutch was instant and reliable. And they're so grippy they look like velcro when you're wearing socks. They feel like sandpaper. I don't care because they've saved a lot of people, especially when transporting valuable cargo. It's not the prettiest thing to look at, but that's not the point. Highly recommended.
