I have had a number of flashlights in my day, believe this is the brightest.I used it last night to check the parking lot at my night job, and it easily illuminated the wall about 100 meters away.and it was insanely bright even at that distance. Impressive!You have different modes including high, low, strobe, etc. I'm also a fan of the power display which shows you how much juice you currently have.Big and kind of heavy compared to some of the compact flashlights out there, but it outperforms them as far as lumens. Very bright, and it will work at great distance, as previously mentioned.It has a wrist strap, but the wrist strap is definitely not thick enough to reliably support the weight of the flashlight; this flashlight isn't "huge" but it's kinda heavy.This shouldn't be a deal breaker, however!You may have to just carry it in your vehicle, in a jacket pocket, or in some type of belt attachment.This flashlight is perfect for security, farmers and AG workers, etc.Even in the darkest of situations, this flashlight will illuminate anything you want to see.*It's so bright you can keep aggressive individuals completely blinded if they approach you.with some evasive footwork you can make them see spots for 5 minutes or so after exposure on "high," and they won't be able to see who's holding the light.they'll only see the big insane beam.At this price why not try it out? It's a valuable item!
