I have to say. I had doubts if these magnetic lashes would suit me. When it comes to makeup, you can call me a minimalist. But as I've gotten older (I'm turning 50 this year), my lashes have become thinner and "straighter". I've dabbled in mascaras meant to lengthen, potions meant to promise growth, and curlers said to cause your lashes to defy gravity. None of them gave me great results. As I'm just learning how to apply eyeliner, the thought of applying liquid was intimidating! However, after getting my box of magnetic lashes and ignoring them for a few weeks, I decided to try it out for a date last night. I was amazed at how easy they were to apply! The liquid eyeliner glides on smoothly and I only had one small mistake which I fixed with a paper towel while it was still damp. After the correction, I let it dry for a minute as instructed in the instructions and then carefully applied the lashes to the magnetic eyeliner. They hold up well and after about a minute of adjusting to this new "weight" on my eyelid I found them quite amazing. My eyes opened like never before. I will say I took them off and trimmed the edges for a better fit, but they blended in right away. I am very happy to have found a solution to my aging eyes and look forward to my next opportunity to wear them!
