Review on πŸ–¨οΈ Enhance Printing Precision with Aluminum Leadscrew Upgrade for Creality Printer by Pavel Craig

That creates more problems than it solves.

had high hopes for it. It's actually good quality and STRONG, but probably too hard. and possibly reduced Z motor and lead screw life. The brass Z-shaft nut (loosened) on the Ender 3 (Pro) was designed to provide a little play to PREVENT binding. Adding this mount will not allow you to play the way you want. This creates a bond. Depending on the build tolerances of your printer, you may find that the Z motor may be set too far back. It doesn't matter as the z-bar's brass nut helps with this, but once you have the top bracket installed it will compress the top of the z-bar and actually bend the bar in an arc. Haven't tried the 3D printed top mount. . But listen better, how can this bring "more returns"? I find it better NOT to use that metal top bracket and that's probably why Creality didn't include it.

Pros
  • color: black
Cons
  • boring packaging
