Review on 🔌 StarTech USB 3.0 to eSATA Adapter by Chris Crisler

I had an unused 500GB hard drive on my desk because the enclosure it was in only had USB2 speeds. I've never used an eSATA connector on a case before, so I took a chance and bought this cable. At first I was disappointed because the cable does not provide power. Data bus only. BUT! After connecting it via the old USB2 port, I was able to transfer files to this drive incredibly fast compared to the old transfer speeds. I really wanted to dismiss the cable because it doesn't deliver power, but a little research shows that it doesn't.
