Dangerous Problem Solved
When my bathroom was remodeled, the vent was too far from the toilet and shared with the bathtub. Water from a bathtub siphon, resulting in toxic sewage gas inside the home. I was a bit unsure of what to do but redesigned the project and placed one of these in the wall above the toilet to complement the main vent and rebuilt the trap under the toilet. Master worked. Now my toilet makes a loud whistle leaving the bowl clean and the siphon in place.
