I needed a lock for the gym and bought this lock after buying another one that didn't work. I decided I was too cheap and bought this one instead. This one works great - it's easy to set up the fingerprint and it's light enough that I clip it to my purse so I don't forget it when I go to the gym. There is a charging port which I charge intermittently - I don't see any way of telling when it's going to run out of power (perhaps if I actually read the instructions). So far, so good.
