My dog twitching caught my attention - a wasp was attached to my pup's shoulder right where he couldn't reach. I don't think that wasp's choice of my dog's anatomy was by accident. Don't tell me these insects from Hades can't think. They've claimed by back yard, beginning with the area immediately outside the backdoor and it was time for yet another magnetic screen door. I decided to spend a little more this time and I'm glad I did. The magnets running the full length of the door solved the issue of gaps.For reasons I don't understand, we can choose width (good) but no choice on length. It's about a foot too long. I'm reluctant to cut it right where it'll get the most abuse - where my dogs enter and exit, so I've pinned it until I can think of a better solution. The magnets are sections of long bars and I had two choices of bringing up the bottom in between magnets which made the either length too short with a sizeable gap on the bottom or draping on the floor. I discovered that the magnet bars can be bent and that's how I got it to the length I needed. I've owned several of these and never had an issue before of length. That's why I gave it four and not five stars.Anyone who hangs these like drapes makes the mistake of not bringing the center up just a bit higher than the edges. That gentle lift in the center is what ensures that the magnets snap together. If you hang these slap even, you will have to manually pull the magnets close enough to close the middle.
